Student Services

Coordinators of Student Services provide resume assistance and referral, per-advisement, academic and personal counseling and referral to campus services. Also available is information about jobs, internships, job/career fairs. Contact Leslie Rumph, LME 313, (775)784-2056, rumphmines.unr.edu

Within in the Mackay School of Earth Sciences and Engineering the Arentz Student Center has 24 hour access, with computers, areas for individual and group study, microwave oven etc.

Scholarship information

For continuing students, see the University Scholarship Information pages for application information. Please complete scholarship application by February 1 of each year in order to be considered for University and Mackay-specific scholarships.

Student Emergency Information

Students participating in field trips and field work are requested to complete a Student Emergency Information form, available here as a pdf, or available from the Dept. office.
