Summary of Consensus Decisions to Date:
  1. Use Montreal Criteria as appropriate.


  2. This group will not deal with carbon cycles (Criteria E).


  3. Mission, Vision, and Guiding Principles are adopted as written.


  4. Goal statement will be revisited at a later date.


  5. Other frameworks, in addition to the Montreal Criteria, may be adopted as necessary.


  6. Differentiate between indicators that this Roundtable will develop and indicators that would be duplication of work that others are doing, e.g. biodiversity.


  7. We will try to find funding for individuals who are unable to finance their own participation in the Sustainable Minerals Roundtable.


  8. We will also identify issues or areas that we are not pursuing, but that someone should (geothermal, forest products).
